Accessibility Statement

Effective October 6, 2026

Chicago Food Corp. ("we," "our," or "us") wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities. We are working to make this website easier to use with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, voice control and other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Meeting WCAG 2.2 also meets the earlier WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

  • Build pages with headings, landmarks, labels and link text that work with screen readers.
  • Make navigation, forms and buttons usable with a keyboard, including a link to skip to the main content.
  • Check text and background colors for enough contrast.
  • Add text alternatives to images where they carry information.
  • Test pages with automated accessibility tools and fix what we find.

Known limitations

We know some parts of the website do not yet fully meet this standard:

  • The service-area map on the About page is a graphic. If you cannot use it, contact us and we will tell you whether we serve your area.
  • Content from other companies, such as Google maps and social media, is not under our control and may not be fully accessible.
  • Some images added by our team may have short or generic descriptions.

We are working to fix these.
