This policy explains how Chicago Food Corp. ("we," "our," or "us") handles personal information on this website. People who apply for a job on this website are covered by the Candidate Privacy Notice.

What we collect

We collect what you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information.

Contact form: your name, email address, company name, business type, phone number and message.
Maps: pages that show a map load it from Google. Google may receive your IP address and browser details when a map loads.
Technical information: our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Browser storage: we save your language choice in a cookie. It stays on your device.

How we use it

To answer your inquiries, including wholesale and business requests.
To keep the website working and secure.
To show maps.

Who we share it with

Google: hosting for this website and maps.
Resend: delivers the emails that your contact form messages become.

These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Contact messages stay in our email for as long as we need to answer you and keep our business records, including while we work with you.
Server logs are kept according to our hosting provider's schedule.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email admin@chicagofood.com. We may ask you to confirm it is you.

You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. The website will still work, but it may forget your language.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Return Policy
All returned items must be accompanied by the original receipt. All returns must be made in original condition and include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories. Items can be returned within 30 days from date of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

Warranty Policy
All electronic items bought within 6 month from date of purchase will be fully covered. This includes all labor, parts, and all shipping costs. If it is a mechanical error and we cannot repair the item, we will replace it with a new one. All electronic items bought between 6 months and 3 years from date of purchase will cover labor costs. Customers will be charged for parts and all shipping costs. If it is a mechanical error and we cannot repair the item, the customer will have to call the manufacturer. We are not responsible for damages caused by the customer.
